Skills & approach

Clarity is built.
Not assumed.

A useful answer starts by defining the right question. My approach connects business context, structured reasoning, analytical investigation and a clear line to action.

The problem-solving method
01

Define the decision

What is at stake? Who needs to decide, by when, and against what objective or constraint?

02

Map the drivers

Separate known facts, hypotheses and missing information. Identify which variables could materially change the answer.

03

Investigate the evidence

Bring together relevant data and business logic. Look for patterns, exceptions and alternative explanations rather than accepting the first correlation.

04

Make the implication clear

Explain what the evidence changes, what it does not prove, and which options deserve consideration.

05

Connect to execution

Define practical actions, ownership, risks and measures that show whether a decision is working.

Business questions I explore

These are areas of interest, not a catalogue of consulting services or claims of completed client engagements.

Analytical tools

Advanced Excel and Power BI help organise, explore and communicate information. DAX is part of my analytical toolkit and continued development. The emphasis is on the business question, the logic behind the model and the decision the analysis supports—not the tool alone.
